Hello blackbird hello starling
winter’s over be my darling
It’s been a long time coming
But now the snow is gone
O K that’s enough singing from me, enough to say how pleased I am to see the back of the snow for now, so pleased in fact that I’m posting a second blog on the same day to give you a smile.
My wife the inveterate gardener went out to pick up the rubbish that had somehow ended up on our driveway and came in holding out the back of a cigarette pack that obviously been used by one of our neighbours to write their shopping list.
It read:
FAGS
SCRATCH
2 PINT MILK
CREAM DOUGHNUT
Obviously the owner had been stocking up for the bad weather. I do hope they managed to remember their necessary victuals without the list.
