A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.

The beautiful serene one is always telling me that I have a smart mouth; I went to my Dental Surgery today for my bi-annual check-up on my primordial gnashers to be told that my Dental Surgeon was not in today as he was ill.  I was just about to put my smart mouth into gear with a remark about throwing a sickie when I noticed the Receptionist’s face and something told me “hush your mouth boy”!

Was I grateful for my wife’s sensible advice, when I learned that Adrian, who has been my Dentist for longer than twenty years, was being treated for bowel cancer and not only that but his Hygienist Louise is also being treated for cancer.  I shall include both in my prayers and also thank the Lord for giving me such a rational wife.
